The :pushing progress 2013 Showcase Series By Donation Workshop is an educational dance workshop of a series of master classes benefitting the non-profit organization Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP) Taking place May 21st - 26th, 2013, The by donation workshop brings together the New York community by involving several of the surrounding studios with space donated at a discounted rate, instruction by 7 of the participating 2013 Showcase Series choreographer’s, and you, by joining us in class and raising funds for this fantastic organization.

It's official!!! Online registration is now open.
We are super excited about this year's event with NEW Faculty, a NEW Schedule, and NEW Event Location. The whole thing feels brand NEW.
NEW to this year's faculty is Sidra Bell of Sidra Bell Dance New York, Bryn Cohn of Bryn Cohn and Artists, and Gregory Dolbashian of the DASH Ensemble. These contemporary artists will be a fantastic addition to the returning :pushing progress faculty Calen J. Kurka, Chris Hale, Anna Vollmar, Kathy VanDereedt, Nadège Hottier, Loni Landon, and the fabulous Lauren Adams.
Adding to the already full schedule of Ballet Technique, Conditioning through functional anatomy, and contemporary movement, we are also adding classes with a focus on energy healing, chakra awareness, visualizations, contemporary movement exploration, animal instincts, performer/spectator games, and phrasework by Allison Jones, and extending our mentoring program, giving each student more individual attention.
