:pushing progress Summer Intensive Scholarship Contest

Congratulations!!!!  You have found our Summer Scholarship Contest Page!!!

:pushing progress wants to help 4 lucky dancers attend the 2011 Summer Intensive. We're giving away two scholarships worth half the tuition price and two quarter scholarships. The process is really easy! Here's how it works:

1. Each contestant must create an improvisational solo based upon the following criteria:

1. •Each solo must be between 1.5 and 2 minutes long.
   

2. •Each solo must creatively show the contrast between Fluid Connected movement and Sharp Simple lines.
   

3. •Each contestant must choose and specify a part of the human body with which to be the base of their movement exploration.
   

2. Post the video to YouTube and email the page link to contest@pushingprogress.com with your name and age.  DO NOT post the link to our Facebook page directly! (And remember to make your video "public" when posting it to YouTube!)  Video must be submitted no later than 9 pm Thursday May 5th.

3. On Friday May 6th, we will post all the contestant videos on our Facebook fan page. Now you have to get all your friends to vote for your video! Getting votes is easy. If your friends are already fans of the :pushing progress Facebook fan page, just get them to "like" your video. Each "like" counts for one vote. If you want to get friends that aren't fans of our page to vote for you, just have them "like" the :pushing progress a company / a workshop page and then they will be able to "like" your video.

4. On Monday May 16th at 12:00 pm, the 4 videos with the most votes / "likes" will receive scholarship funding to attend this year's 2011 Summer Intensive! We will pick 2 Grand Prize winners from the four with the best videos and they will receive a half tuition scholarship. The two runner-ups will each be awarded one quarter scholarship.
